About these terms

Told You So is operated by Toldyousoapp, at 65 Calmsden, GL7 5ET. Contact hello@toldyousoapp.com. These terms cover your use of our personal intention and wins tracker. You must be at least 18 to subscribe. Keep your login secure and use the service lawfully.

Your account and content

Your content remains yours. You grant us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service. Do not upload unlawful content or information about others without a lawful basis. The tracker and AI suggestions are for personal reflection, not medical, financial or other professional advice. We do not guarantee any particular outcome.

Plans and the free trial

The monthly plan costs £6.99 per month. The annual plan costs £50 per year, saving £33.88 compared with twelve monthly payments. Displayed prices include applicable taxes. Eligible new subscribers receive a seven-day free trial, with a card required at checkout. Checkout shows the trial-end date. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your selected plan is charged and renews automatically monthly or yearly.

Payments are taken in pounds sterling by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card details. Cancel before the trial-end date and you are not charged.

Cancellation and plan changes

You can cancel any time through Profile → Manage subscription. Cancel before the trial-end date to avoid the first charge. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of your current trial or paid period. Monthly/yearly plan changes take effect at the next renewal, with no mid-period charge or credit. Updating a card and viewing invoices are available through Manage subscription.

Access and account deletion

Trialing and active subscriptions have full access. If a payment is past due, access continues while we ask you to update your card. Once your access period ends, or if you have no subscription, you can still sign in, view, download and delete your own data, but cannot add or edit intentions, wins or check-ins.

Deleting your account is different from cancelling a subscription: it cancels your subscriptions immediately and permanently removes your app data and login. Download your data first if you want a copy. Account deletion does not automatically refund previous payments or erase payment records retained by Stripe for legal reasons.

Your consumer rights

UK consumers have a statutory 14-day cancellation right starting when the contract is made, separate from our seven-day trial. Email hello@toldyousoapp.com within those 14 days to withdraw and we will refund what you have paid. If you ask us to start the service during that window, your right to withdraw ends once it begins. Outside the 14-day window, payments already made are not refundable, but you can cancel any time to stop future renewals. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. If it is faulty or not as described, you retain your statutory remedies. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Availability and changes

We may make reasonable updates and perform maintenance. We will give reasonable notice of material changes, including price changes before a renewal, and let you cancel before they take effect. We may suspend accounts for serious misuse, explaining the reason where lawful.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. UK consumers keep the mandatory protections and court rights available in the part of the UK where they live. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights.
